Join us on our journey to build a sustainable future, together.About the JobToday we are looking for a Summer Student to help us out with grounds keeping in order to keep pace with the demand for our services at our Burlington Transfer Station. Your goal for the next few months is to help keep operations clean and tidy as well as divert user waste and recycling. Our site runs on various shifts. Monday through Friday and on Saturdays - your work could happen any time between these days/hours. The job involves long periods of standing, bending, and twisting, so physical fitness is important. The wage for this student position will be $18.00/hr.What You'll Be DoingKeeping the site clean and tidy * Directing customers and traffic to the appropriate offloading areas
  • Divert recyclables and commodities, including some lifting (approx. 50 lbs.)
  • Working with the public, so customers have a good experience.
Here's What You Need
  • Physically fit; able to stand, bend, twist and lift up to 50lbs.
  • Experience doing physical or outdoor work is an asset.
  • People skills to get along with the team and the public.
