Looking for a proficient, caring, and patient Live-In Child Care Provider who can provide a fun, safe and nurturing environment for our two young children - aged 1 and 4 years old. The ideal candidate must have the ability to adapt to a flexible schedule and work full-time, Monday to Friday, during the morning and middle of the day. This job will be based in our home in Aylmer, ON (N5H 3G6) with a salary of 20.00 hourly/40 hours per week. This is a term contract starting as soon as possible. Work must be completed on site with no option to work remotely. This is a non-smoking and scent-free environment for the well-being of our children. The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to: - Preparing nutritious meals for kids - Bathing and dressing children - Adhering to special dietary rules (if any) - Keeping the kitchen tidy - Assisting children with homework - Performing children's laundry - Changing diapers and assisting in toilet training - Sterilizing bottles and preparing formulas - Assuming full responsibility for the household in absence of parents - Instructing children in personal hygiene and social development - Organizing activities such as games and outings for children - Supervising and caring for children - Tending to the emotional well-being of children The preferred candidate should have some education, a college, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience. Additionally, 1 to 7 months of experience in child care is desirable. Ability to converse comfortably in English is a must, with Filipino/Tagalog, and Ilocano being asset languages. Certificates in First Aid and CPR are required for safety purposes. Applicants should expect to undergo a criminal record check, medical exam, and should be bondable. Public transportation is available and employer can provide transportation as needed.
