Join our Infant Care team to make an impact by operating manual and semi-automated pre-wired electrode machine to produce disposable electrodes while ensuring quality and productivity standards are met.Job SummaryThe Associate I, Assembly plays a key role in the assembly process of products including the verification of components and compliance with quantity and quality standards. The Associate I, Assembly conducts quality inspections on the assembly line in accordance with quality specifications, reports defects and investigates the route cause. This job operates equipment that packages materials or products by inserting them into containers or filling containers from spouts or chutes. The Associate I, Assembly tasks are performed in accordance with applicable safety guidelines, as well as appropriate processing standards.Schedule:Currently this is a day Shift from 7:00am - 3:00pmThe role may progress to an evening shift as well from 3:00pm - 11:00pm on alternate weeksYour Contributions to the Organization:Duties and requirements of the job include, but are not limited to:Accountability for Product Quality and Safety ComplianceAbility to work in a team/cellular environment assembling various Infant Care ProductsAbility to analyze and document various functions in the processSet up and operation of packaging equipment required.Ability to follow good documentation practices.Understanding of GMP and 5S methodology.Perform line clearance procedures and set-up to support efficient and timely change-oversParticipate in Non-Conformance investigation and resolution where applicableKnowledge of the Infant Care Department would be a definite assetWhat is expected of you and others at this levelApplies basic skills and techniques to complete routine tasks within assigned areaWorks on basic and routine assignmentsWorks within clearly defined Standard Operating Procedures and/or scientific methodsAdheres to all quality guidelinesWorks under close supervisionAll work is reviewed for accuracyAny deviations from the norm are approved by the supervisor before proceedingEducation / Training and/or Qualifications:High school diploma preferredExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to interpret and follow instructionsExcellent hand/eye coordination and dexterityAbility to sustain repetitive dutiesAbility to sustain both sitting and/or standing positionsOur Employees all benefit from:Full dental and health benefits including life insurance from day 1Pension plan with employer matching level contributionIncentive plan participationPaid vacation daysTuition reimbursementPaid uniform and safety shoes allowanceIn-house training on safety measures, production tasks and equipmentPay range: $ 19.00 per hour (Plus 0.84$ shift differential)Bonus eligible: Yes.
