- Due to provisions in our collective agreements with Dalhousie employee groups, Talent Pathways is unable to offer student or academic (teaching or research) positions.
- Temporary positions are based on the university's operational needs and typically last 3 - 6 months. On occasion, they may last for shorter or longer periods of time, usually no longer than one year.
- Temporary employees work within Dalhousie's regular business hours of 8:30 am - 4:30 pm unless otherwise specified by the hiring manager prior to employment.
- All temporary roles require short-notice availability for in-person or hybrid work at one of our campuses.
- Salary ranges vary depending on the position type and will be shared with you before any interview. You can expect an hourly rate between $20.69 - $29 for administrative and finance positions or $32.24 - $34.19 for technical positions. Full time hours at Dalhousie are 32.5 or 35 hours per week.

Required Qualifications
- Relevant post-secondary education (certificate, diploma, or degree) and 1-5 years of directly related experience in the field of work to which you are applying (or an equivalent combination of training and experience).
- Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Adobe Pro).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines while handling multiple priorities.
- Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills.

- Professional experience in an administrative support role at a post-secondary institution
