- Lead and support the development and implementation of data governance frameworks, policies, and standard.
- Assess client data landscapes and maturity to identify gaps and recommend actionable improvements.
- Advise clients on data quality, metadata management, data lineage, data privacy, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Collaborate with data architects, data engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure governance requirements are embedded in data solutions.
- Facilitate data stewardship and data ownership programs, including training and change management initiatives.
- Support the evaluation and implementation of data governance technologies and tools.
- Stay up to date on emerging trends and regulatory developments in data governance, AI ethics, and responsible AI.
- Prepare and deliver client presentations, reports, and workshops.

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, information security, or a related field.
- 3-7 years of experience in data governance, data management, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of data governance principles, frameworks, and best practices.
- Experience with data governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Alation, Ataccama etc.) and data management platforms.
- Familiarity with AI concepts and the unique governance considerations they introduce.
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience in consulting, client-facing roles, or project management is an advantage.
- Certifications in data governance, data management, or related disciplines (e.g., CDMP, DCAM, DGSP).
- Experience in regulated industries (e.g., financial services, healthcare).
- Exposure to cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
