Join our global community of over 200,000 dedicated employees around the world in driving the transformation of the eyewear and eyecare industry.GENERAL FUNCTIONThe Distribution Clerk will be working in lens and frame, picking or data entry section of the Ground Zero department.The work schedule is Sunday to Tuesday (Mid-day shift) but may be subject to change depending on operational and business needs, potentially requiring employees to work weekends and holidays as well.You may need to work different hours in the beginning for training purposes.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accurately locate and pick item as per the pick ticket by using RF scanner
- Checking the products against the order form to ensure accuracy
- Invoicing and tracking orders by using electronic system
- Packing and sorting orders according to shipping requirements
- Performing shipping and receiving activities
- Stocking and replenishing products on the shelves
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area and replenishing supplies as needed
- Processing customer returns in the system
- Participating in inventory counts
- Inputting manual orders into the system
- Prepare completed jobs for the next department
- Matching work order numerically to tray number
- Complete tasks within the frames department
- Job experience will be considered in place of High school diploma or GED
- Proficient in English (ability to read, write, and speak fluently)
- Manufacturing experience a plus
- Computer proficiency, including the ability to work in multiple systems simultaneously (may be required for data entry position)
- The ability to meet measurable standards in a dynamic production environment Depth perception, use of fine motor skills and manual dexterity
- The ability to handle multiple requests effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Solid problem-solving skills
