US Tax LeadEssential Job Functions
  • Lead the preparation of the Group's US income tax provision for financial reporting
  • purposes
  • Compile and review the calculation of the effective US income tax rate
  • Compute and coordinate the remittance of estimated income tax payments and final tax
  • payments at the US federal, state and local levelsCoordinate and track relevant data for preparation of US income tax returns
  • Develop quarterly transfer pricing adjustment recommendations to management
  • Assist accountants with management of indirect tax processes on an as needed basis
  • Manage correspondence and interactions with tax authorities, reconciliation of income
  • tax accounts and the reports to management
  • Co-lead the income tax audit process with tax analysis, information gathering, preparing
  • responses to information requests, status documentation and communication with
  • relevant tax authorities
  • Collaborate in the operational planning process to identify any tax withholding and
  • liability issues, and propose alternate scenarios to mitigate risk and exposure
  • Research, identify and communicate trends and developments in US federal and state
  • income tax which are relevant to the businesses
  • Manage accumulated earnings with focus on dividend recommendations to management
  • Work with the Chief Financial Officer-Family Office on special projects, transactions and
  • North American tax planning in order to provide tax and operational efficiencies
  • Manage the external service providers relating to all US income tax matters
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

  • of pivot tables and macros

  • Strong analytical capability, sound business sense and creative mind
Required Education/Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Tax, Accounting, Business or Finance
  • Professional accounting designation (CPA)
  • 5-7 years of progressive US income tax experience with a public accounting firm or a
  • mid-level tax position in industry
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and IFRS principles and experience in preparing
  • financial statement notes relating to income taxes
  • Working knowledge of US tax research tools and tax software
  • Proven experience advising on complex US corporate income tax issues and general
  • business matters
Travel
Up to 5-10% travel time may be required
