- Lead the design and establishment of the affiliate relationship management function within Financial Institutions, defining the operating model, governance structures, and client coverage approach.
- Develop and implement policies, processes, and frameworks that formalize how TD Bank Group manages intra-group banking relationship at scale.
- Act as subject matter expert and internal champion for this function, partnering with senior leadership to align the model with broader GTB and enterprise strategy.
- Promote and deliver transaction banking products tailored to the specific operational needs of each affiliate and subsidiary entity.
- Engage GTB Product Factory Institutional Clearing team to develop bespoke solutions.
- Deepen existing intra-group client relationships and drive cross-sell opportunities across TD Bank Group's product suite, working closely with the Senior Relationship Management team in Global Markets.
- Partner with the account management team to deliver dedicated day-to-day services for affiliates and subsidiaries, including account maintenance, billing, pricing, and KYC compliance.
- Negotiate inter-entity agreements and service level agreements (SLAs) that define service standards between operations and internal clients.
- Serve as primary liaison between operations and affiliate clients, maintaining continuous oversight on account management items and escalations.
- Ensure all intra-group transactions are conducted at arm's length, with proper documentation and in full compliance with applicable regulations.
- Oversee credit extensions, collateralization, and regulatory reporting for affiliate transactions, ensuring adherence to internal governance and external regulatory requirements.
- Conduct ongoing market research and competitor analysis across key markets to benchmark TD's transaction banking offerings and identify opportunities.
- Track and manage referral arrangements to other TD business and product partners, ensuring appropriate revenue attribution and client continuity.
- Strong business acumen and client relationship management skills.
- Expertise in financial institutions sales and transaction banking products.
- Experience negotiating inter-entity agreements and service level agreements.
- Knowledge of Regulation W and other relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Team-oriented attitude with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle pressure and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel (up to 30%).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Experience supporting affiliates and subsidiaries in a global banking environment.
- Familiarity with credit facility assessment, multi-currency account management, and cross-border banking operations.
- Ability to collaborate with internal teams (finance, tax, compliance, legal) for special conditions and reviews.
