As a result our people get to work on some of the most exciting projects in the world.Who are you?You are an experienced Estimator with 3-5 years post-graduate experience in cost planning and estimating looking for the next step, or are currently undertaking a similar role in a similar environment and looking to join a growing and dynamic team.Job DescriptionAs an Estimator, you will be involved in:

Preparing Construction Cost Estimate reports at all stages of design for Energy & Natural Resource & Mining projects. The estimates are industrial type work projects within Alberta and nationally as required.
Produce estimates, taking ownership of them and presenting the final cost plan/estimate to the department lead.
Applying Value Management techniques at the outset of a project and where appropriate
Ensuring that cost analysis, cost checking and valuation work is managed effectively
Participating on basic project and financial management responsibilities such as timesheets ,free tracking, invoice preparation etc.

QualificationsQualifications

3- 5 years' experience delivering pre-construction and post contract construction cost services
A recognized University Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
Membership of Relevant Professional Organizations such as the Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (CIQS); The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS); and/or Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering (AACE)
Piping and or pipeline experience is an asset
Fabrication & Module experience is an asset
Experience of working in a consultancy or owner organization.
Experience of working in the Canadian construction market.
Experienced user of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Knowledge of and experience using InEight & Aspentech software is an asset
