Forklift Operator

• Ability to follow All Safety Policy and Procedures as outlined by the Company
• Drive in a defensive manner to prevent product damage or injury
• Responsible for charging the forklift battery
• Read and understand Purchase Order load sheets to load product on trucks
• Remove completed pallets from the line, wrap and put into storage area
• Perform all other duties/tasks as assigned by Manager
• Communicate any changes, issues, etc. to other operators. Must maintain all required documentation and check sheets
• Various production tasks may be assigned as required
• Complete vehicle operator's checklist for lift truck to ensure lift truck is safe
• Participate in team meetings, as required

• Must be able to obtain forklift operator’s certificate
• Knowledge of lift trucks and proper driving procedures
• Ability to work with a minimum of supervision, and get along well with others
• Must be self-motivated, observant and have excellent attention to detail.
• Have good initiative and a positive attitude
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Lifting is required, approximately 50 lbs
• Team player with excellent attendance
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment adapting to and embracing change as it occurs
• Must possess a good safety record and demonstrate "safety first" on a continual basis

• Able to work weekends and evenings when required
