Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) is looking for a Visual Content Producer and Editor to join our Creative Services team and help tell meaningful stories that reflect the people, places, and purpose behind our work.Reporting to the Director of Brand and Digital Communications, you’ll lead photo and video projects from idea to final delivery, capturing authentic moments, translating complex information into clear and engaging visuals, and creating content that connects emotionally with audiences across internal and external channels.This role is a great fit for someone who is creative, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across the full production process, from concepting and scripting to shooting, editing, motion design, and final delivery. You’ll collaborate closely with communications leaders and internal partners while consistently upholding VCH’s brand standards and values.If you’re excited about projects such as creating organizational impact videos, helping patients navigate procedures and ease anxiety, capturing teams at work, and showcasing our communities of care to support recruitment, this may be the right role for you.As a Visual Content Producer and Editor with Vancouver Coastal Health you will:

Be responsible for capturing, producing, and editing high-quality photography and video content to create compelling visual assets for internal and digital channels.
Lead projects from concept through execution and final delivery, translating complex information into clear, emotionally resonant visual stories that engage audiences and support organizational objectives.
Work as part of the Creative Services team to contribute to creative concepting, scriptwriting, motion design, and animated content, while consistently upholding established brand standards.

Capture high-quality photography and video content for digital, social, and internal channels, including interviews, talking heads, day-in-the-life features, fireside chats, testimonials, and b-roll.Produce photo- and video-first content optimized for social platforms, including vertical, square, and short-form formats.Lead photo and video production from pre-production through post-production, ensuring alignment with VCH brand strategy and storytelling objectives.This work is framed within VCH’s commitments to our pillars of Indigenous Cultural Safety, Anti-Racism, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, and Planetary Health.QualificationsEducation & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Video Production, Film, Broadcasting, Photography, or a related field preferred.
Seven (7) years’ demonstrated experience across the full photo and video production lifecycle, including pre-production, scripting, storyboarding, production, post-production, and project management.
Minimum three (3) years’ experience using Adobe Creative Cloud (required).

Knowledge & Abilities

Advanced proficiency in video, photo, and motion content creation using Adobe Creative Cloud, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Audition.
Demonstrated experience creating and editing social-first photo and video content, with an understanding of platform-specific best practices (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, Facebook).
Strong skills in motion graphics and animated content for digital and social use.
Proven ability to produce visually compelling content with a clean, modern aesthetic, supported by a strong portfolio or demo reel.
Strong visual storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex or sensitive information into engaging visual narratives.
Experience working within established brand and visual identity guidelines.
Knowledge of digital and presentation formats, including aspect ratios, resolution, compression, and platform optimization.
Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, including the integration of video, animation, and visual assets.
Solid understanding of image and video formats, colour space, resolution, and file optimization.
Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
