B&R is currently looking for a highly motivated candidate to join the team in the Southwest Ontario (Mississauga), Canada.Your responsibilities
  • Provides technical guidance and offers insights on inquiry specifications to customers, channels, and Sales Engineers concerning B&R products, systems, and applications. Delivers technical assistance during technical meetings, product presentations, and negotiations.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop value presentations for strategic opportunities.
  • Execute proof of concept and proof of principles in conjunction with the sales team for key Expandable Customer and Target Customer accounts.
  • Engage in weekly opportunity review meetings, actively contributing to advancing open opportunities and transitioning won series machines into production.
  • Resolve critical issues related to impactful open opportunities, prioritizing, escalating, and collaborating with the sales team for resolution.
  • Conduct research in key target industries as defined by management, identify targets, update CRM with addresses and contact names, and create tasks for the sales team to follow up.
  • Support the sales team in preparing for tradeshow target customer visits using the "walk the show" process.
  • Aid the sales team in building quotations, establishing pricing, and finalizing the customer’s bill of materials for order processing.
  • Create value presentations in PowerPoint with the sales team.
  • Independently conduct or participate in customer meetings, either alongside or on behalf of the sales team.
  • Collaborate with Engineering leads to allocate resources for incoming service requests, such as spare part requisitions, line downtime issues, and service and maintenance training.
  • Coordinate with the Americas Service Manager to manage resources, training initiatives, and goal achievements.
  • Communicate target status updates with the sales and engineering teams.
  • Update and train the sales and engineering teams on both new and existing services.
  • Present all available services to key existing customers and new targets.
  • Monitor quality tickets for key accounts and keep customers and the sales team informed about repair statuses.
  • Generate spare parts and retrofit quotes for both end users and in-house accounts.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with top existing expandable customer accounts and actively participate in open issues, ticket tracking, and updates on B&R solutions in meetings. Resolve critical issues by visiting customer sites when necessary.
  • Offers product/solution/service-related training.
Your background
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in French would be an asset.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Confidence with strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Engineering background/degree or diploma.
  • Advanced knowledge of automation concepts, PLC programming, and industrial control systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (MS Office).
  • Legal authorization to work in Canada; no sponsorship for employment visas. will be provided now or in the future for this job opening.
  • Up to 30% domestic and international travel. A valid passport is required.
