- Managing the complete requirements lifecycle, from initial analysis to final validation and certification conformity proof.
- Prepare requirement documentation for the carbody shell and crash, as assigned by the Sub System Manager.
- Coordinate with the Weight Discipline Engineer on carbody shell weight decomposition.
- Develop design solutions aligned with project specifications and co-engineering needs.
- Lead dimensioning verification activities in partnership with FEA and Crash teams to support development.
- Maintain consistency and accuracy across released designs, simulation configurations, and associated results.
- Create detailed part designs, installation, and integration drawings.
- Guide the design team to achieve project objectives, providing technical support to Sourcing, Industrialization, and Manufacturing teams during production ramp-up.
- Verify design deliverables at both the Document Review Process (AVVA) and SA (System Architecture) levels to ensure compliance and high quality.
- Ensure all deliverables are properly and securely stored within the Digital Mock Up (DMU) system.
- Oversee the design team, implementing robust problem-solving methods to resolve challenges.
- Escalate technical issues to the Sub System Manager (SSM), including formulating and communicating mitigation plans as needed.
- Contribute to defining the train's physical architecture.
- Engage in daily governance activities and address issues promptly to maintain project progress.
- Establish cross-domain mitigation plans for unresolved technical issues or unmet targets.
- Develop carbody shell Certification and Validation Plans ensuring all requirements are satisfied.

- Graduated from Mechanical Engineering school. Master degree, an asset.
- Over 8 years of relevant experience in complex assembly mechanical design and validation. Experience in design of transportation vehicle is an asset.
- Familiarity with welded structures and geometric tolerancing.
- Exposure to manufacturing environments.
- Strong problem-solving.
- Proficiency in both French and English.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, time management, sense of urgency, customer and product focus, and a structured and organized approach.
