- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and service calls.
- Conduct daily and weekly inspections, lubrication, and minor repairs on bolting and drilling equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance and component rebuilds, including feeds and booms.
- Diagnose faults using computerized and manual testing tools; determine repair requirements.
- Create accurate work orders, parts lists, and repair time estimates.
- Complete Time Confirmation Entry in SAP
- Collaborate with drill specialists to maintain adequate spare parts inventory.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Test repaired equipment to ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain mechanical service vehicles in clean, organized, and optimal condition.
- Assist other mechanics as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Attend required product training courses to enhance troubleshooting skills.
- Ensure all tools are returned to the tool crib daily.
- Adhere to all safety standards and proactively address hazards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Demonstrate proactive safety practices for self and team members.
- Journeyperson trade certification in a relevant field.
