THE PERSON:A detail-oriented and collaborative engineer who communicates clearly across global teams and thrives in complex, fast-paced technical environments. They proactively solve problems, take ownership of deliverables, and support team success through steady leadership, strong analytical thinking, and a commitment to high-quality execution.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Define and own the overall DV testplan/methodology for HUB/Router design, ensuring scalability across variants and generations.
  • Collaborate closely with architects, design, emulation, and Subsystem verification leads to build aligned verification strategies.
  • Provide technical mentorship and strategic direction to DV leads and engineers across global AMD sites.
  • Anticipate architectural and verification risks early and drive systemic solutions before they impact delivery.
  • Influence cross-functional decision-making through a blend of technical insight and collaborative communication.
  • Champion long-term DV innovation by staying current on AI/ML techniques, formal verification, and emulation strategies, and knowing when to integrate them into project flow.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Expertise in Design Verification with an emphasis on system architecture and PCIe protocol layer verification, or strong AI/ML deployment experience
  • Strong grasp of DV methodologies: coverage-driven verification, formal, and infrastructure strategy.
  • Solid understanding of computer architecture fundamentals: pipelines, routing, ordering, caching, coherency, load/store, etc.
  • Strong documentation, planning, and cross-functional coordination skills.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering
