- Steward safety and the well‑being of all personnel, conduct inspections, and immediately address risks.
- Lead and manage all site activities, including the Chandos' Production System, project design, budget, schedule, performance, subtrades, and profitability.
- Provide direction, mentorship, and oversight to other Assistant Superintendents and field staff, fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Plan and schedule work, hold milestones, and allocate manpower and materials to meet project goals.
- Remove roadblocks, manage risk, and oversee project setup, execution, and close‑out.
- Ensure conformity with drawings, specifications, and quality standards, while driving workmanship excellence.
- Monitor project budgets and forecasts at the phase‑code and cost‑type level to identify gains and mitigate losses.
- Oversee third‑party monitoring/testing in accordance with contract specifications.
- Act as the owner interface champion, maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring clear communication with project managers and stakeholders.
- Identify training needs, support apprenticeship programs, and build healthy, high‑performing teams.
- Uphold organization, work methods, scheduling discipline, cost control, and lean construction principles.
- 5+ years of demonstrable experience as a construction Superintendent for a large general contractor on commercial ICI projects
- Must have experience overseeing other Assistant Superintendents
- Journeyman trade certification or equivalent field experience
- Majority of your projects have been in the $10-50M range
- Have been responsible for creating/managing schedules, operating all scheduling system & planning and managing complex logistics for the full duration of projects
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
