- Execute comprehensive PR strategies to boost visibility across tech, business, and trade media that further our brand and company key messaging.
- Build and manage relationships with journalists, analysts, bloggers, and influencers in your specific geographic area.
- Secure media coverage for product launches, company milestones, executive thought leadership, and industry insights, working alongside our global corporate communications and marketing team.
- Write and distribute localized content, media pitches, bylined articles, and blog content.
- Coordinate interviews, press briefings, speaking engagements, and media events.
- Create and manage clear, consistent messaging across all public-facing materials consistent with our corporate messaging and brand for our subsidiary companies.
- Support internal communications, marketing campaigns, and external conferences/events and trade shows by working with cross-functional internal teams.
- Develop and manage messaging frameworks, media kits, and crisis communication playbooks based on our brand and messaging standards
- Work closely with leadership to prepare talking points, op-eds, presentations, and speeches.
- Drive brand storytelling across platforms and brands, ensuring alignment with company values, marketing campaigns, and goals.
- Target, do outreach and create relationships with important publications, bloggers, and journalists to ensure our brand and thought leaders are known and engaged in relevant conversations.
- Identify opportunities for award submissions, thought leadership, and industry recognition to ensure we opportunistically take advantage of these branding and awareness opportunities.
- Collaborate with our global social, product marketing, and content teams to amplify messages across channels.
- Monitor media coverage and industry sentiment; provide regular reporting and analysis on PR and communications performance.
- Leverage company and third-party tools for execution and to track outreach and impact.
- Bachelors degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in communications and/or PR, ideally in a tech company or agency serving tech clients.
- Proven success in securing high-impact media coverage and managing strategic communications.
- Excellent writing, editing, and messaging skills with a referenceable published work.
- Strong understanding of media relations, storytelling, and brand positioning.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and work cross-functionally with global teams.
- Experience working with executive teams and managing agency partners.
- Background in B2B or enterprise technology and supporting B2B sales teams
- Familiarity with global communications and regional market nuances.
- Understanding of social media strategy, content marketing, and SEO.
- Experience working with financial media and supporting investor relations is an asset.
- Experience managing communications for public companies or high-visibility brands.
