Work arrangements will be discussed with hiring managers per departmental guidelines.This is a one-year contract.Your RoleAs our Digital Editor (Community Manager) for the Entertainment Unit, you will lead the social media presence for ICI TÉLÉ and ICI TOU.TV.Your primary focus will be to develop and execute compelling content strategies designed to engage and captivate our target audience. You will help create and distribute written, visual and video content that aligns with platform goals while upholding Radio-Canada’s editorial standards.Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Platform Management: Create, write and publish high-impact content tailored specifically to our entertainment programming (including scripted series, variety shows and other special features).Project Leadership: Manage social media projects end-to-end, co-ordinating regularly with various stakeholders to ensure final deliverables meet all project goals.Analytics and Optimization: Monitor publication performance and use data-driven insights to refine our content approach and improve reach.Strategic Alignment: Work closely with the Content Marketing Strategist to ensure all social accounts are aligned with the Entertainment Unit’s high-level vision.Campaign Co-ordination: Work closely with the 360 Marketing Strategist to develop tactical plans that support broader marketing efforts.Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with creative teams to ensure a consistent brand voice and maximize the reach of our initiatives. This includes handling production requests for clips, trailers, marketing assets, etc., via Jira or other project management tools.Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing: Regularly exchange insights and best practices with your counterparts in the News and Audio units.Perform, as needed, any other related task necessary for the execution of the above tasks.QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent.Two years’ relevant experience.Required SkillsStrong writing ability coupled with excellent knowledge of grammar and syntax.Ability to create multimedia content.Organizational skills and ability to multi-task.Proficiency with social media management tools and creative software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Canva).Deep interest in and understanding of the media landscape.Nice-to-HavesExperience in the media industry.Strong knowledge of trends in digital communication and social community management.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.Ability to communicate and work effectively with all levels of staff and management.Strong expertise in promotional copywriting and community engagement.This position offers a unique opportunity to actively drive public engagement through high-quality, impactful content.Shortlisted candidates will be tested as follows:French test.Interview.Candidates may be subject to skills and knowledge testing.We thank all applicants for their interest, but only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.As part of our recruitment process, candidates who advance to the nextstep will be asked to complete a background check.
