Explore opportunities in Financial Services.Your OpportunityStantec is looking for a detail oriented and proactive individual to join our Accounts Payable (AP) team. Working in collaboration with our entire accounting team, the individual will be responsible for accounts payable transactions and supporting the implementation and documentation of all financial regulatory requirements.Your Key ResponsibilitiesProcessing high volume of accounts payable invoices in an electronic environmentParticipate in the online audit of expense reportsProvide timely customer support and assistance through communication with Stantec officesWork in an open team environment to ensure that the goals of the Accounts Payable team are metUndertake special projects or assignmentsCommunicate with vendors as requiredAssist in providing audit documentation requestsYour Capabilities and CredentialsPrevious Accounts Payable experience is an assetUnderstanding of accounting concepts and principles is an assetAbility to work independently as well as in a team environmentAbility to interact and communicate effectively with customers, vendors and employeesExcellent time management skillsExperience in an office environmentOracle AP experience is desirableProficient in MS OfficeStrong customer service skillsEducation and ExperienceHigh School Diploma2-3 years office experience is an assetThis position will primarily work in our Edmonton office and will potentially work partially from home with your supervisor's approval.
