This role is contributing to the: Automation Service business, supporting the AUEN and AUPI divisions in western Canada.Your responsibilities;Managing customer service orders to ensure best practices in cost control, resource efficiency and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)Working with other functions to coordinate contract negotiations and claims with customersWork closely with the ABB Account Managers to identify new opportunities.Prepare quotes and implement contract changes based on customer requests.Achieving service order deliverables and compliance with contract requirementsCoordinate project team effort including engineering, testing, site work activities and sub-contractors.Review status, monitor, analyze and report on contract performance.Building strong relationships with customers and stakeholdersQualifications for the role;A minimum of five (5) years of experience managing industrial control systems and electrical apparatus projects.Experience in industrial and/or utilities markets with distributed control systems (DCS)Demonstrated experience in management of project scope, cost, financial analysis, schedules and vendors/subcontractors.A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skillsEngineering Degree or Technology DiplomaProject Management PMP designation is an asset.Strong computer skills – SAP or other ERP, Microsoft Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project.Why ABB?We empower you to take initiative, challenge ideas, and lead with confidence.
