- Lead and manage test teams, ensuring alignment with RBC’s Quality Engineering practices and standards.
- Oversee the integration of team members into Squads, Programs, and Projects, ensuring engagement from the start of each initiative.
- Manage resources and coordinate with vendors to ensure alignment with RBC practices and efficient resource utilization.
- Build strong relationships and communicate effectively with team members, business stakeholders, IT partners, and vendors.
- Execute performance management processes, including creating development plans and conducting performance reviews to support team growth and success.
- Ensure team members have access to the necessary training, tools, and consulting to achieve their objectives.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop workforce skill sets that align with transformation needs and strategic goals.
- Drive the adoption and maximization of automation for all functional testing deliverables across the portfolio.
- Leverage AI-driven tools and practices to enhance testing strategies, optimize workflows, and improve overall efficiency.
- Lead the integration of AI technologies into DevOps and QE processes, ensuring at least two years of hands-on experience in AI adoption is applied to drive innovation.
- 8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Engineering, 4+ years of DevOps, with 3 to 5 years in a people management role.
- At least 5 years of experience in developing and implementing end-to-end testing strategies and managing the testing lifecycle for programs and projects.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD/CV pipeline automation.
- Proven expertise in leading all aspects of testing, including test optimization and automation.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in AI adoption and integration into DevOps/QE processes.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, frameworks, and best practices (e.g., Agile, Kanban, Scrum).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to prioritize, focus, and solve complex problems effectively.
- Experience testing or working with Salesforce platforms (e.g., Salesforce Financial or Experience Cloud).
- Familiarity with insurance industry data, systems, and processes.
- Experience in vendor management and coordination.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
