Surveillance Security Guard - Future opportunitiesWe are building a talent pipeline for future openings supporting security operations at a high-security data center. This role is primarily administrative and computer-based, focused on monitoring security systems, managing remote access, and responding to alarms and communications.This is not a traditional physical security role. Work is performed seated at a computer workstation in a controlled operations environment and requires strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and professional communication skills.Security Clearance Requirement (Mandatory)

Eligible for Secret clearance
Resided continuously in Canada for the past 10 years (no exceptions)

Shift Schedule (Full-time)

Continental shift schedule
12-hour shifts
2 weeks day / 2 weeks night rotation

Responsibilities for Security Guard in Barrie

Monitor alarms, dashboards, and security systems
Manage remote access requests
Respond to security events per procedure
Handle phone and email communications

Escalate issues as required
Follow access control and confidentiality policies

Qualifications for Security Guard in Barrie

Authorized to work in Canada
Valid security licence
First aid certification required
Strong computer skills and comfort with extended screen time
Calm and focused under pressure
Reliable attendance and professionalism
