With consistent public traffic and special events, the mall requires an organized environment that supports customer safety, accessibility, and smooth day-to-day operations.Position: Temporary Part Time Security GuardSite: Westmount MallAddress: 785 Wonderland Road South, London, ON, N6K 1M6Hours: Monday - Friday (10AM - 2PM)Pay Rate: $18.54/hourOvertime Method: Averaging agreement (AA) - 88Posting Date: April 7th, 2026Internal Closing Date: April 14th, 2026External Closing Date: May 15th, 2026Job Duties:
  • Stay vigilant during high-traffic periods, especially during high school lunch breaks.
  • Monitor behavior and address rowdy or inappropriate conduct.
  • Enforce the mall's Code of Conduct and Trespass to Property Act (TPA), asking individuals to leave when necessary.
  • Respond quickly to incidents and calls for service.
  • Maintain clear communication with the team and complete detailed incident reports.
  • Use and manage security equipment such as radios.
Prerequisites:
  • Valid Ontario Security License
  • Standard First Aid, CPR Level C
  • Working knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act and Mental Health Act
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated punctuality and reliability
  • Authorized to legally work in Canada
