- Perform a variety of duties including but not limited to administrative duties, update schedules and budgets, maintain cost control, and monitor labor material and equipment activities specific to the M&E scope of the project(s).
- Work with Project Managers and Superintendent to update project schedule and budget to identify potential construction issues
- Assist with the review, coordination, and implementation of the project-specific safety plan
- Attend M&E focused project team meetings, record meeting minutes, action items, and present updates
- Monitor project change management process, identify change events, submit change notices, track changes and optional changes in project scope, and present to the Project Manager when required
- Assist with drawings, drawing records, revisions, site instructions and change orders
- Obtain and provide written documentation for all clarifications and instructions
- Support Project Manager and Superintendent with creating templates and supporting documents on behalf of project team regarding roles and responsibilities
- Assist Project Manager and Superintendent with the establishment of a cost reporting system, monitor and review project cost components regularly
- Assist and monitor payroll functions to ensure the project team is using proper codes and cost allocation
- Build effective relationships with customers, design team, subcontractors, suppliers, and user groups that reflect and support Graham’s core values.
- Maintain safety and QA/QC records
- Ensure responsibility for own health and safety, and that of other workers, site visitors, the community, and the environment in line with client and OHS requirements, and all applicable government laws and regulations
- Review the Field Surveillance Reports and initiate NCRs based on analysis and severity of findings
- Monitor, measure and document HSE and Quality goals and expectations using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Review, approve and close out all incidents to support Continuous Improvement (CI) processes and feedback for the HSE MS
- Ensure that Project Quality Risk Assessment (PQRA) is conducted for the project upon award of project contract
- Completion of a Engineering related Degree or Diploma training program preferably in a Mechanical or Electrical discipline
- Minimum of 4 years of M&E Coordination experience with a General Contractor
- Proficiency in the use of MS Excel, Primavera, OnScreen Takeoff, Bluebeam and BIM modelling is considered an asset
