Business Process Analyst – Automation – FinanceThe Business Process Analyst is a specialization of the “business analyst” role. Business Process Management combined with workflow/business process automation.The business process analyst is a modeler of business processes (in this case finance). The Business Process Analyst help the business executives in decision-making by modeling/simulating “what-if” scenarios and builds business models for software to follow to automate financial payments as much as possible.The successful individual will analyze customer business financial requirements & financial processes and verify necessary modifications. They will collaborate with internal and external departments to successfully migrate, validate and analyze data to streamline all financial processes.Qualifications:
  • Strong Financial background and acumen. Possibly an accounting degree or designation
  • Experience in automating Accounts Payable Function to maximize cash flow and minimize interest payments
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical financial skills
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Eligible to work in Canada
  • Ability to work at a detailed level while maintaining an overall project perspective
  • College or University degree in one of the following: Business, Accounting
  • Minimum of two years of experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Agile experience is an asset
  • Exposure to SQL is an asset
  • Systems integration experience is an asset
  • Practical knowledge of 1-2 Business Intelligence tools is an asset
