  • Lead a sub-team of Integration & Test (I&T) Engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing
  • Lead the development, review and implementation of Test and Trials (T&T) program for LBTF Range services; including Set-To-Work (STW), Integration Testing, Harbour Acceptance Trials (HATs), Sea Acceptance Trials (SATs), and Operational Test & Evaluation
  • Manage post installation inspections, commissioning and verification of equipment readiness
  • Lead development and execution of test documentation to verify the functionality of the integrated software/systems
  • Manage the documentation of test results in the Test Management System (TMS)
  • Manage defect reporting and documentation
  • Manage Test Report reviews to include data collection analysis results and report findings as necessary to key stakeholders
  • Lead planning and the execution of the Acceptance activities
  • Manage the development of Contract Data Requirement Listings (CDRLs) and ensure alignment with contract Statement of Work (SOW)
  • Manage the development and maintenance of Test Sequence Network (TSN) and Time Phased Test Sequence Network (TPTSN) and alignment with the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
  • Manage the implementation of Model Based Testing (MBT) methodology and traceability
  • Identify, mitigate, and communicate I&T risks, ensuring proactive risk management and contingency planning
  • Represent I&T in defined program meetings, stakeholder communications and required technical presentations
  • Review and assess vendor technical documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements
  • Ensure configuration control of systems under test, including version tracking and test baselines
  • Define and report on test progress metrics and readiness indicators
  • Cost account management to support program business rhythm
  • Participate in training activities and acquire knowledge of complex warfare systems
What you bring to the role
  • Post-secondary education (degree or diploma) is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant military/civilian technical experience of 0-2 years experience.
  • Experience in I&T environments, ideally within engineering or defence programs
  • Ability to lead I&T activities across multi-disciplinary teams
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders
  • Must have a high degree of initiative and autonomy
  • demonstrate an ethical and respectful approach, contributing positively to a team environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule, including evenings and weekends, as required
  • Must be able to obtain a North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Secret security Clearance in a timely manner
Additional skills desired for the role
  • IT&E experience in a Naval program
  • Experience in Combat Management System 330 (CMS 330) operation is considered an asset
  • Integration and Test (I&T) experience including understanding of Verification Cross Reference Matrix (VCRM)
  • Familiarity with IBM Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System (DOORS) is considered an asset
  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology is considered an asset
  • Familiarity with software development and test
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
