Job Summary & Key ResponsibilitiesThe instructor will be responsible for the delivery of the Winter 2027 course, ENVS 3200, Introduction to Environmental Law.The class explores law as part of the fabric of society, including private and public law, sources of law, the rule of law, the relationship between the courts and government, environmental rights, and the role of Canada's Constitution.The instructor will be responsible for preparing content, lecturing, holding office hours, preparation and grading of student material, submitting final marks to the Registrar's Office, answering student inquiries and hiring/supervising TAs.
Qualifications/Requirements of PositionJuris Doctor with relevant expertise and teaching experience. Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience teaching the course.
Salary Range/Pay Rate In accordance with CUPE Agreement Local 3912
