Responsibilities

General Accounting Duties

Customer Service
Unionized Payroll

A day in the life

Prepare and release weekly Unionized Payroll

Accounts Payable

Monthly bank reconciliations and daily account reconciliations including recording, sales, expenses, assets, and liabilities
Prepare and/or review general ledger accounts and reconciliations
Maintain excel-based schedules annually supporting payroll GL accounts
Maintain and reconcile intercompany accounts
Prepare excel-based schedules for annual audit files for external auditors
Oversee and Maintain daily bookkeeping
Comfortable working with Jonas Premier
Preparation of schedules supporting sales/use tax returns
Preparation of tax information schedules for completing a corporate income tax return

Review and Distribute various mail (physical and digital)
Establish and maintain customer and client relationships
Updating and Implementing various processes and procedures related to the accounting functions
