- Assists the Warehouse Manager by managing and executing all activities of the warehouse in support of the overall operation; helps to promote an overall corporate image of excellence through a strong work ethic, leadership by example, and the consistent delivery of excellent customer service throughout the warehouse operation.

- Know and follow all company and receiving policies and standards
- Understand all store Loss Prevention procedures designed to minimize internal and external shrink
- Supervise day to day operations of all warehouse functions including ordering, receiving, shipping, return goods handling, cycle counting, inventory accuracy, equipment maintenance, and staff training
- Provide leadership to maintain a positive team environment
- Supervise and be accountable for the performance of your staff
- Ensure staff are following standard operating procedures and safety standards
- Sort and price all merchandise accurately and efficiently
- Adjust prices (mark ups/ mark downs) as per the Warehouse Manager's instructions
- Write and acknowledge orders
- Prepare return-to-vendor merchandise accurately and on time
- Immediately inform management of any out of stock situations
- Help train new warehouse associates
- Organize all preparatory work for quarterly press counts and annual inventory
- Communicate effectively with customers, fellow employees and management
- Isolate, sort, and organize all damaged and outdated products for subsequent supplier credits and returns.
- Establish and monitor daily operational duties and priorities
- Follow and adhere to company policies and procedures
- Help maintain a neat, clean, organized warehouse including sweeping, dusting, straightening of merchandise, fixtures and displays, and performing light maintenance
- Other tasks as required.
- One year supervisor experience required. Warehouse supervisor experience preferred.
- Previous experience with Inventory Management
- Fork-lift/pallet jack experience
- Receiving, storing, delivering inventory experience required.
- Previous experience with Excel or similar database management computer system required.
- SAP experience preferred
- Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with subordinates.
- Requires the ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions
- Requires the ability to drive a truck safely.
- The ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Strong leadership skills; ability to delegate and coach others.
- Ability to read and interpret deliveries and purchases.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to follow job procedures and manager instructions
