Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to energize a clean-air world.The RoleReporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for performing routine warehouse functions such as: shipping, receiving, storing, and issuing materials; monitoring and correcting inventory levels as required; and providing training and support to junior employees.In this role, you will:
  • Issue materials from various warehouse facilities
  • Respond to material requests and queries
  • Receive, inspect, and load/off-load general freight
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior employees
  • Use electronic devices and systems, including SAP
Required:
  • Grade 12 education or equivalent
  • Minimum of five years' related work experience in an industrial warehouse environment
  • Experience with job kitting, cycle counting, and MRP review
  • Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
  • Advanced computer skills, including the use of ERP systems (SAP preferred), Microsoft Excel, and handheld devices
  • Forklift and loader operator certifications
  • Valid Class 5 drivers' license
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
Recommended:
  • Experience working with SAP
  • Previous training in first aid, WHMIS, and transportation of dangerous goods

Salary Range: $121,383Safety Sensitive SitePreference will be given to Residents of Saskatchewan's North (RSN).The Cigar Lake operation is located in northern Saskatchewan and operates on a two week on/two week off rotational schedule. Employees commute to the site by aircraft from designated locations in Saskatchewan.The physical and psychological safety of our employees is a top priority at Cameco.
