We offer an attractive compensation package with benefits.The OpportunityThe Quality Lab Supervisor assists with the development, training and implementation of quality lab testing and inspection procedures and work instructions. They identify and support the resolution of quality issues as required.The Quality Lab Supervisor supervises the day-to-day shifts for the quality lab operations, ensuring compliance with MML QMS procedures and industry requirements.This posting is for an existing vacancy within our team.What You Will Do
  • Supervises the quality lab team leads and indirectly the shift lab technicians across 4 shifts as well as required, conducts lab tests and inspections
  • Assists with the implementation and maintenance of the MML Quality Management System with a focus on procedures and work instructions for the Quality Lab May include other related duties as required, provided such duties are reasonable and consistent with the employee's qualifications and role responsibilities.
  • Supports team in process improvements and corrective actions
  • Provides training for quality team leads, lab technicians and inspectors in chemical testing and product inspections
  • Develop and implement new test and inspection procedures as required.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment including management of required calibration
May include other related duties as required, provided such duties are reasonable and consistent with the employee's qualifications and role responsibilities.What You Bring
  • 3 years' experience with quality lab testing and inspections
  • Experience with developing required quality and lab documentation
  • Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering or related field Certification/Licenses if applicable
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
  • Ability to develop and conduct testing and inspection procedures to maintain MML and regulatory requirements for chemicals and final product
  • Background in lab supervision including conducting investigations for out of specifications results
Assets
  • Experience and knowledge of appropriate international quality system standards i.e. ISO 13485, ASTM and other related lab testing standards
What We OfferCompensationThe expected base salary range for this position is $70,560 - $94,080 per year.Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, education, internal equity, and other job-related factors permitted by law.Depending on the role, the position may be eligible to participate in a bonus or incentive program.Benefits & Work Environment
