Our client is seeking an experienced SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) / Enterprise Asset Manager (EAM) Consultant, for a perm position, to help clients transform maintenance operations, improve asset reliability, and digitize field service using SAP PM/EAM and related solutions (e.g., SAP Service and Asset Manager, SAP Field Service Management, SAP Asset Performance Management). You’ll drive process design, solution configuration, testing, and rollout—partnering closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and change management.They cannot sponsor employment, so US Citizen or Green Card HolderRole: SAP PM/EAM Functional ConsultantWhat you will do:
  • Facilitate customer workshops across Maintenance Planning, Execution, Inspection, and Reliability; document “to-be” processes, user stories, and functional specifications.
  • Configure SAP PM/EAM including maintenance plans, task lists, notifications, work orders, measuring points/counters, catalog codes, technical objects (functional locations, equipment), BOMs, and permits.
  • Participate in pre-sales activities with customers to support for potential SAP opportunities and provide input into creating detailed Statements of Work.
  • Support SAP EAM/PM client engagements by assisting in the design and implementation of SAP technology solutions (e.g., SAP Service and Asset Manager, SAP Field Service Management, SAP Asset Performance Management).
  • Perform Functional Unit Testing for developed FRICEW objects and work with onshore and offshore developers to resolve defects.
  • Deliver user training, solution demos, and change management support.
  • Create solution documentation, functional specs, process maps, and configuration guides.
Requirements:
  • At least 5+ years of experience in SAP PM/EAM end-to-end implementations or major enhancements.
  • Up to 25% travel
  • Expertise in notifications, orders, maintenance planning & strategy, task lists, inspections, permits/lockout-tagout, refurbishment processes, and breakdown management.
  • Cross-module understanding of MM, FI/CO, PP, QM; familiarity with data migration (LTMC/FG/ETL tools) and IDoc/REST/OData interfaces is a plus.
  • Familiarity with the IPSECA model and maintenance business processes.
  • Background in EAM-intensive industries (utilities, oil & gas, manufacturing, transportation, public sector).
  • BachelorÂ’s degree in technical area preferred
  • Experience with SAP Service and Asset Manager (SSAM), SAP Field Service Management (FSM), and SAP Resource Scheduling on HANA (RSH) is a plus.
  • Utilities Experience is a plus
