- Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial documentation.
- Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting processes.
- Analyze financial data and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders, leveraging various business tools and metrics.
- Create financial reports, graphs, and analysis to support program objectives.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analyses, data integrity checks, and validations in a fast-paced setting.
- Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes and maintain operational efficiency.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice reconciliation.
- Utilize advanced Excel functions, such as pivot tables and lookups, to analyze large datasets.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity within enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Diploma in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field, with a minimum of two years' relevant experience.
- Progress towards a recognized accounting designation is considered an asset.
- Proficiency in computerized financial applications and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, including advanced Excel skills such as pivot tables and data validation.
- Experience working with large datasets and providing detailed financial insights.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities, with a focus on customer-centric solutions.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage.
