This position will work closely with project management, engineering, procurement, and construction teams to develop and maintain an integrated master schedule for a large-scale gas plant build.This role will be based out of Sherwood Park, Alberta. The shift will be Mon-Fri.Job Scope & Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain integrated project schedules for engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) phases
- Build and manage schedules using industry-standard scheduling software
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to validate logic, durations, and resource loading
- Monitor project progress, critical path, float analysis, and schedule risk
- Provide schedule forecasting, variance analysis, and mitigation strategies
- Support turnaround planning and construction sequencing
- Prepare progress reports, dashboards, and executive-level schedule updates
- Participate in constructability reviews and planning workshops
- Ensure alignment between field execution plans and master schedule milestones
- 5+ years of scheduling/planning experience in oil and gas construction projects
- Direct experience supporting gas plant or major facility construction projects preferred
- Strong understanding of EPC project lifecycle and construction sequencing
- Proficient in Primavera P6 (preferred) or equivalent scheduling software
- Experience with critical path methodology (CPM) and earned value management (EVM) principles
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, work packages, and construction plans
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, multi-discipline project environment
- Valid safety tickets and capable of passing pre-employment drug & alcohol testing
