Our services include piping and modular fabrication, industrial facilities construction and maintenance, storage tank construction and maintenance, and pipeline integrity services. Our Acheson facility includes a dedicated indoor fabrication shop supporting Enbridge projects.SUMMARYPrimoris Canada is seeking a Labourer – Pipe Cutter to support a multiple long term projects at our fabrication shop. This role focuses on cutting pipe using a plasma cutting machine in a controlled shop environment, supporting fabrication and production activities.Anticipated Start Date: April-May
Location: Acheson, AB
Shift: Day shift – Dayshift 4x10s (Mon-Thurs. 6am to 4:30pm) with potential for overtime
Inclusive Rate: $27.17 – $35.85 (inclusive of employer contributions for vacation/statutory, health & welfare, RSP, RSP matching, and education & training)Hourly Rate: $20.42-$27.75JOB DUTIES

Cut pipe to specified lengths using a plasma cutting machine
Read and follow cut lists, drawings, and work instructions
Grind, bevel, and finish pipe ends to fabrication requirements
Safely handle materials using overhead cranes, forklifts, and carts
Measure and verify cut accuracy using tapes and gauges
Support fabrication trades by preparing pipe and materials
Maintain housekeeping and organization within assigned shop areas
Comply with Company safety standards
Participate in safety meetings and toolbox talks
Perform other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS

Valid CSTS-20
WHMIS
Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working outdoors
Strong commitment to safety and quality
Team-oriented and self-motivated
