KIT Recruitment has partnered with a well-established and growing food manufacturing organization to hire a Maintenance Technician II (Electrician) to support plant operations and ensure the reliability of critical production equipment.This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled electrician who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys hands-on troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and working as part of a collaborative maintenance team.In this role, you’ll play a key part in maintaining production uptime, supporting multiple departments, and contributing to a safe, efficient, and high-performing facility.Electrician - DetailsWage: Tech II starting wage @ $44.61, increasing to $45.95 June 1, 2026
Shift: 12-hour continental rotation (2 weeks days / 2 weeks nights)
Schedule: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM / 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Environment: On-site | Food manufacturing facilityElectrician - Responsibilities
  • Provide electrical expertise to support installation, maintenance, and optimization of plant equipment and production systems
  • Troubleshoot electrical failures, identify root causes, and implement long-term corrective solutions
  • Perform preventative maintenance and complete work orders as assigned by Maintenance leadership
  • Collaborate closely with production and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies and proactively addressing equipment issues
  • Repair and maintain components in the maintenance shop as required
  • Work alongside other trades to complete projects and improve plant performance
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with food safety, quality, and safety standards
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and reports to support planning and performance tracking
  • Uphold strong housekeeping standards within the maintenance shop and work areas
  • Support overtime requirements for coverage, projects, and audit preparation when needed
Electrician - Qualifications
  • Valid Construction or Industrial Electrician license required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a continuous food manufacturing environment required.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to diagnose issues efficiently and implement effective solutions
  • Experience working in fast-paced production environments with a strong safety mindset
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments
  • Demonstrated reliability, initiative, and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Willingness to obtain a Class “B” Refrigeration Operator License (supported in-house)
  • Millwright license considered a strong asset
