- Exposure to all aspects of the business, working with senior management directly
- Primary architect for all custom MS Power Platform solutions.
- Develop strong relationships with key internal business leaders at all levels to understand gaps and pain points in existing business processes and tasks and identify opportunities to use MS Power Platform tools to remediate pain points and bridge gaps.
- Lead the complete development cycle for MS Power Platform solutions, including discovery and analysis, design, configuration, programming, testing and deployment.
- Present tailored demonstrations of the technology solutions to the executive team and internal users.
- Oversee the development and dissemination of user training materials, including user guides, clinics, and conduct end-user training.
- Configuring new RPA processes and objects using core workflow principles that are efficient, well structured, maintainable, and easy to understand.
- Supporting the Operational Teams during the deployment & rollout phases.
- Ensure all development adheres to best practices for custom solutions.
- Develop and refine MS Power Platform governance, standards, and tools.
- Provide expertise and support to business managers and other members of the IT Solutions team on how to best implement, support, and deploy MS Power Platform solutions.
- Determine when MS Power Platform is not an appropriate solution for a business problem and communicate that to business leaders effectively, with alternative recommendations.
- Assess business needs and identify opportunities through direct communication with the business using a variety of forms, including written and verbal communication, discovery meetings, and user workshops.
- Foster a culture of customer service and continuous improvement among the IT Solutions team to enable effective support of business operations.
- Work with external consultants and developers on contracts.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in project management, system design, or information systems.
- At least two years of direct automation experience.
- Hands-on experience with Power Platform technical solutions:
- Canvas and Model-Driven Power Apps
- Power Automate Cloud,
- UI and Desktop Flows, including Power Automate Desktop
- Power BI
- Power Virtual Agents
- Dataverse
- AI Builder
- Powerapps Portals
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 packages such as MS Excel, MS Visio, MS Access, and MS Word.
- Ability to work independently through complex issues and apply professional judgment.
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize a demanding workload.
- Effective decision maker.
- Database modelling, architecture, maintenance experience (ideally SQL Server).
- Demonstrated experience in requirements gathering and analysis.
- Strong knowledge in solution design principles and modular programming techniques.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of relational database concepts, including SQL Server and Azure Gateway.
- Experience implementing automation solutions independently.
- Ability to understand the business process and create process flow diagrams.
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, attention to quality, self-motivation and a strong desire to succeed.
- Strong knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce and make presentations to the senior management team and other non-technical audiences.
- Advanced decision-making and problem-solving skills.
