Our Resort Manager is responsible for running all of the day-to-day operations of the resort including managing the accommodations, marina and pub, and leading our amazing and dedicated crew, while ensuring an excellent experience for our guests.Our Resort Manager is skilled at creating an exceptional resort experience. They are a talented communicator with the ability to successfully lead our resort team as well as provide attentive and memorable hospitality to our guests.THE PERKS

YOU BRING
  • 5+ years of experience in accommodation hospitality
  • Experience in operating a small boutique-style resort
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
  • Ability to lead a team of 25+ crew members in peak season
  • Be an outstanding ambassador for our brand
  • Experience working with WebRezPro or booking software
  • Advanced knowledge in computer office software
  • Motivation to provide excellent guest service
  • Assertiveness to share feedback with the Resort Owner
ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Manage Front Desk, Accommodations, Retail and Reception operations
  • Customer relations and satisfaction, and contributing to all aspects of exceptional guest experience across the entire property
  • Lead the Property Team (Reception Crew, Housekeeping Crew, Grounds Crew), including all strategic concept development and branding, as well as hire, schedule and train the tea
  • Consult on short-term and long-term strategy and brand development
  • Manage crew accommodation, including cleanliness and placement
  • Liaise with Events Coordinator
  • Liaise with partners, Metta Eco Experiences and Sunshine Coast Tour
  • Liaise with Dock Master
  • Liaise with Pub Leadership Team
  • Order, receive, count and control retail inventory
  • Develop and achieve labour costs
  • Develop and achieve retail COS
  • Manage and control operating costs
  • Light bookkeeping (e.g., coding order invoices, balancing front desk cash outs) and administration as required
  • Other duties as required
