The BScN program is a four-year collaborative degree with the University of Alberta, approved by the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta. The BScN program provides exceptional opportunities to work closely with students, faculty, and staff in an innovative, supportive environment that promotes creativity, scholarship, and commitment to student success.All four years of the degree program are taught by RDP faculty. Faculty may be assigned instructional workload that requires travel to urban sites (Red Deer Regional Hospital, long-term care sites, etc.) and rural locations in Central Alberta (Sundre, Olds, Innisfail, Stettler, etc.), in addition to teaching on the RDP campus. - Our Sessional Instructors are hired on full-time, term certain contracts. We have contract options available ranging from 4.5 to 6.5 months.
- This role is ideal for those looking to jump into teaching, build relationships with students and really experience what it feels like to be a nurse educator at RDP.
