Seize the opportunity: take your next step with us and join our team.Customer Service Rep, Order Desk (Full Time) - Brampton, ONIn this position you will be is responsible for the efficient processing of customer orders and responding to customer inquiries via phone, e-mail and fax.Other responsibilities will include:
  • Processing accurate and timely customer orders
  • Emphasis on "Up selling" gases and other welding products over the phone where possible
  • Communicate specials, featured products and flyers to customer over the phone
  • Research welding products and availability with vendors on behalf of customers
  • Follow up on customer backorders and expedite where required
  • Provide coverage for subdivision retail stores as required
QualificationsYou will bring with you to this position:
  • College education or equivalent experience
  • Excellent computer skills
Other Considerations:
  • Knowledge and/or experience with welding products or similar industry is preferred
  • Must be upbeat and personable with exceptional telephone communication skills
  • Mathematical ability required to calculate prices and gross margins
  • Self-motivated and capable of working with minimum supervision
  • A safety conscious team player who works well with others
