- A diploma or undergraduate degree in a planning, technical or business management discipline from an accredited post-secondary institution.
- 10+ years of experience in asset management techniques, such as capital or maintenance planning, reliability engineering, strategy development or business process improvement.
- Experience with enterprise asset management software, data analysis/BIG data.
- Experience in project management related to infrastructure asset management.
- Experience working with diverse teams, including engineers, planners, operations and maintenance staff, and managers.
- Marketing ability and possession of market intelligence is an asset.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Aptitude to apply asset management theory to any type of infrastructure such as water, wastewater, transportation, transit, and facilities.
- Awareness of standards for asset management practices, including IIMM, ISO 55000, AMBC or provincial frameworks and toolkits.
- Excellent written and spoken English and presentation skills.
- Proactive communications with a proven ability to successfully problem-solve.
- Understanding of software applications in Asset Management.
- Engagement and facilitation experience.
- Change Management skills.
- Experience with operational improvement.
