- Help conduct engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
- Assist in data review, creating designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
- Collect and analyze data under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
- Use computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.
- Perform work in accordance with an agreed upon budget and schedule under supervision.
- Learn use of survey equipment such as GPS and total station to assist technologist with occasional field assignments including surveys and inspections.
- Potential to work in remote areas of Northern Saskatchewan.
- Review of project drawings and specifications.
- Observe, inspect, and record work on-site to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Preparation of safey plans.
- Assist with construction contract administration including preparing change orders or reviewing submittals.
- Attend client meetings with project manager and prepare notes and action items.
- Must currently be enrolled in a relevant Civil Engineering program.
- Must have completed at least 2 years of study in their relevant program.
- Must have a valid Class 5 drivers license.
- Relocation is not available for this position.
- Sponsorship for Canadian employment authorization is not available for this position.
