Reporting to the Business Relationship Manager Lead, you'll collaborate with assigned affiliate teams to assess critical success factors and deliver tailored solutions leveraging business technologies. Your role involves adopting and applying our vision, strategy, and digital blueprint across Latin America, Canada, and globally, ensuring alignment with team objectives and compliance with pharmaceutical industry regulations.As Business Relationship Manager you will be seen as the Technology Business Partner, you'll be instrumental in partnering with various stakeholders, such as Brand Teams and Customer Excellence, to address their technology needs. Your focus will be on maximizing affiliate ecosystems, driving innovation, and ensuring successful technology implementations aligned with business objectives and the global roadmap. You'll play a pivotal role in maximizing both global and local technology capabilities, driving business value, and influencing solution adoption. Additionally, you'll provide consultancy to optimize service usage and drive innovation, while also serving as a subject matter expert on digital and data strategies, delivering solutions, and providing industry trend insights to support business priorities.Key responsibilities include:
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with business stakeholders, including Brand Teams and Customer Excellence, to grasp their technology needs, challenges, and improvement opportunities.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Be recognized as the go-to person for technology-related matters, offering advice and leading business technology execution, solution development, and delivery.
  • Strategic Input: Provide valuable input into business strategy, particularly in areas where technology plays a significant role.
  • Trusted Advisor: Act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner, offering insights and recommendations on technology solutions to drive business success and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Technology Initiative Prioritization: Identify and prioritize technology initiatives aligned with local business needs and objectives, ensuring alignment with the organization's overall technology strategy and focus on value.
  • Technology Adoption: Drive the adoption of technology capabilities within the organization by providing training, guidance, and support to stakeholders to fully leverage available tools and systems.
  • Compliance and Governance: Collaborate with the BTS governance team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and security standards.
  • Channel Strategy Development: Develop channel strategies in convergence with digital (OCM) strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and maximizing the effectiveness of digital channels.
  • Understanding Emerging Technology: Stay updated on integrated ecosystem, emerging technology, data solutions, and digital capabilities to understand their impact on affiliate business strategies.
  • Innovative Solution Identification: Identify challenges and opportunities that can be addressed through leveraging existing solutions or developing innovative ones tailored to the specific needs of the affiliates.
  • Promoting BTS Technologies: Position the value and benefits of Commercial BTS global common technologies, maximizing the integrated ecosystem.
  • Supporting Technology Strategy: Support the technology strategy for the Affiliate by networking within the global BTS organization, representing business needs, and aligning on global technology adoption or local innovation.
  • Maximization of Initiatives: Guarantee successful maximization and adoption of global and regional initiatives within the affiliate.
  • Collaboration and Best Practices Sharing: Collaborate with regional and global areas to share best practices and ensure the visibility of affiliate needs.
  • Relationship Management: Establish and maintain high-quality relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the company, acting as the single point of contact for all BTS needs.
  • External Partnerships: Establish partnerships with external organizations to leverage the company's digital channels and data solutions effectively.
  • Solution Adoption and Implementation: Drive the adoption and pull through of solutions offered by shared service organizations prioritizing initiatives to address key business priorities.
QualificationsRequirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree would be an asset.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a technology business partnering or similar role, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Strong understanding of technology trends and their potential impact on business operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong independent decision-making, organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions and vice versa.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving innovation and maximizing business value through technology.
  • Successfully managing technology projects through the full lifecycle and in Compliance.
  • Experience in analyzing, designing, and improving business processes
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and deliver results within established timelines.
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical industry regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
