On behalf of our Public Sector Client, Ignite Technical Resources is recruiting for a Asset Management Analyst to join our Client's team on a 12-month Contract with extensions basis. This role is Hybrid (3-days per week onsite) and the Client is based in Vancouver, BC.Summary of the RoleThe Asset Management Analyst is responsible for enhancing the integrity and coverage of asset data in the EAM system, focusing on facilities assets such as pumps, water management, HVAC, and building envelope materials. The role includes building reporting capabilities using SQL and Power BI, creating asset onboarding and retirement processes, and supporting data governance initiatives to ensure consistent and accurate asset representation across the organization.Duties & ResponsibilitiesMaintain and improve asset data quality, completeness, and accuracy in the EAM system.Develop and implement processes for asset onboarding, access management, and retirement.Build reports and dashboards using SQL, Power BI, and other tools to support data-driven decision-making.Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and IT teams to enforce asset management standards and data governance practices.Conduct data cleansing initiatives to improve asset data coverage and usability.Apply asset management frameworks, such as ISO 14224 and ISO 55000, to ensure compliance with industry best practices.Core Requirements2-3 years of experience in asset management, CMMS/EAM systems, or data analytics.Hands-on experience with IBM Maximo, Oracle EAM, or similar platforms.Knowledge of asset management standards and frameworks (ISO 14224, ISO 55000).Experience building reports and dashboards using SQL, Excel, or Power BI.Post-secondary education in engineering, information systems, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Desired Skills & ExperienceFamiliarity with data governance tools (e.g., Microsoft Purview).Experience with facilities asset types such as HVAC, pumps, water management, or building envelope materials.Ability to analyze large datasets to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.Understanding of asset lifecycle management processes.Experience supporting data-driven decision-making in operational environments.TermsThis is a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension. The role is Hybrid, requiring 3 days per week onsite in Vancouver, BC. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
