Your MissionActivision Central Tech is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Expert Technical Producer to join our team. The Central Tech production team provides global leadership and support across technology development powering the Call of Duty franchise. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire development lifecycle of complex technology, aligning technical requirements across stakeholders, and collaborating with various teams to achieve shared technology goals.This role isanticipatedto be a hybrid work position, and the home studio for this role isVancouver, BC.What you bring to the tableThe videogame industry and therefore our business is fast-paced and will continue to evolve. This role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
- Bring active leadership, proactivity and strong execution in your areas of responsibility, ensuring delivery predictability and operational health
- Own planning, progress tracking, and dependency management for large scope with significant unknowns through all project phases
- Collaborate across discipline to define and document realistic milestones, capacity plans, progress reports, and other relevant documentation.
- Drive rigorous production processes, reporting standards, and risk management frameworks across mandates.
- Maintain strong visibility of development health, progress and risks to managers and directors.
- Proactively initiate and drive discussions with teams and leads across disciplines to confirm objectives, resolve challenges, support informed decisions, and ensure success of initiatives.
- Participate in building strong production culture through continuous improvement of team processes and production practices.
- 8+ years of technical production in game development.
- Possess strong understanding of both production methodologies and technical development workflows in games.
- Structured and rigorous, with a proven ability to manage ambiguity and maintaining flexibility in plans to respond to change
- Strong communicator, known to bring depth to decision-making and problem-solving
- Ability to lead, influence and mobilize teams without direct authority.
- Skilled with project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and communication infrastructure such as Slack and Teams.
- Proven ability to build positive working relationships and contribute to an environment of trust, respect, and accountability.
- Experience working on AAA and/or first-person shooter games.
- A technical degree or similar experience.
- Experience managing production tooling workflows to increase efficiency.
