Reporting to the Process Plant General Supervisor, you will be part of the Process Plant Department. You will ensure the proper operation, start-up and shut down practices of the team on all circuits of the process, as well as playing an important role in planning, organization, and follow-up of the performed operations. You will also ensure compliance with procedures that are specific to the operation and will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s culture, health and safety code of conduct and the environment.
  • Apply the principles and practices of the Supervision Formula.
Review work cards and daily tasks to ensure activities are properly planned, risk‑assessed, and executed safely, while maintaining consistent floor presence to support and oversee execution.Coordinating work schedules, vacations, and coverage to always maintain safe staffing levelsSupporting hiring activities, including candidate selectionOverseeing new employee onboarding, ensuring all safety orientation and mandatory training are completedManaging disciplinary files and performance assessments.Participate in shutdown planning meetings and coordinate critical safety controls, including confined space requirements and LOTO alignment.Evaluate KPI trends, set appropriate corrective measures, and engage the team in implementing improvements.Collaborate with the metallurgy team to optimize the process efficiencyEvaluate material requirements and initiate procurement orders as neededEnsure accuracy and completeness of all Work Orders generated by his team.Ensure proper transfer of information with the cross shift.QualificationsCollege Technical Diploma or equivalent experience;5+ years of operational experience in a mining process plant environment.Previous supervisory experience;Note that the official working language at Meadowbank Complex is English.Your Work Schedule:
  • Schedule: 14 days of work, followed by 14 days for transportation and rest;
Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides charter flights to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
