- Receive and analyze the relevance and scope of all work requests, i.e. duration of work, labor, subcontractors and materials required, cost estimates, etc;
- Plan and schedule preventive maintenance and daily maintenance work for your production line to minimize downtime;
- Plan and organize major shutdowns and ensure proper allocation of human and material resources to minimize downtime;
- Work with the operations department to establish maintenance priorities;
- Plan work so that it is carried out safely and in compliance with company OHS procedures and regulations;
- Ensure effective coordination of maintenance work to meet operational reliability requirements;
- Create preventive and predictive task instructions on all existing equipment, as well as for new equipment introduced into the plant.
- Manage and optimize equipment spare parts lists in the "Maximo" CMMS system;
- Create all spare parts for new equipment in the "Maximo" CMMS system;
- Carry out occasional reliability projects on our production equipment;
- Perform all other related maintenance tasks.
- DEP in heavy vehicle mechanics, DEP in construction equipment mechanics
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the manufacturing sector;
- Have relevant experience in managing a mobile equipment maintenance garage
- Good knowledge of a CMMS system, specifically MAXIMO;
- Holds PEP cards, or experience managing a PEP program (an asset)
- Experience in managing a work team (an asset);
- Good command of spoken and written French and English.
- Work schedule: monday to friday 1pm to 9pm
