The range reflects the typical range for new hires, it does not reflect the maximum salary for the role over time.This is an existing vacancy.The Senior Database Administrator works closely with the Development, Application Support & SRE team to monitor, troubleshoot, and recover issues that may arise with the database systems. Maintaining industry best practices, the Senior Database Administrator ensures tasks are executed in a precise and timely manner.What you will be doing
Be responsible for daily database operations.
Helps the triage the incidents in the DBA standups and with other IT Operations teams.
Promote training & knowledge sharing by creating runbooks and procedures.
Be responsible for maintenance, patching, upgrading and monitoring of the database environment.
What you will bring to the role
Hands on experience with Relational and Non-Relational Databases.
Experience managing enterprise level high-availability, Fault tolerant DB instances.
Familiarity in managing Database as Service and Infrastructure as code.
Experience with backups, restores and recovery models
Performance Tuning / Data Access Optimization
Hands on experience with TSQL & scripting languages.
Understanding on DB Functions, Stored Procedures, System views etc.
Knowledge of indexes, index maintenance and statistics
Working knowledge on a multi-cloud environment.
Eagerness to grow and develop skill set
