- Partner with the CEO, CPO, CMO, and Leadership Team as a trusted advisor on all internal and external communications matters
- Develop and execute a national communications strategy that aligns a distributed, multi-site workforce to enterprise priorities
- Translate business strategy into clear, actionable messaging for field leaders, clinicians, and support teams
- Lead executive communications, ensuring leaders are equipped to communicate priorities with clarity, consistency, and credibility
- Build and oversee internal and external communications plans, including organizational updates, change communications, and employer brand messaging
- Drive employer value proposition (EVP) and recruitment marketing initiatives in partnership with HR and Talent Acquisition
- Oversee social media and external communications to strengthen brand presence, reputation, and community engagement
- Lead the planning and execution of enterprise events, including leadership summits and regional sessions, aligning content to strategic priorities
- Own and evolve internal communication channels (e.g., town halls, intranet, leadership forums) to improve engagement and transparency
- Establish communication rhythms that reinforce strategy, build trust, and strengthen leadership alignment across the organization
- Lead, develop, and scale a high-performing Communications team, including agency and vendor partnerships
- Define and track success metrics across communications and events, continuously refining approach based on insights and feedback
- Support change management initiatives, ensuring clear, consistent communication through periods of growth, transformation, or integration
- 10+ years of experience in corporate communications, including senior leadership experience within a complex, enterprise environment
- Proven experience supporting distributed or multi-site organizations (e.g., healthcare, retail, or service-based environments)
- Demonstrated ability to operate as a trusted advisor to executive leadership teams
- Strong experience in internal communications, leadership communications, and change management
- Track record of leading communications through transformation, growth, or integration initiatives
- Experience developing and executing employer brand and recruitment marketing strategies
- Strong event leadership experience, including large-scale leadership or enterprise events
- Exceptional ability to translate strategy into clear, compelling messaging for diverse audiences
- Experience managing sensitive issues, including crisis communications or reputational risk
- Strong cross-functional leadership experience across HR, Operations, Marketing, and Talent Acquisition
- Proven ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing teams
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in regulated or reputation-sensitive industries (e.g., healthcare, veterinary, financial services) is preferred
- Experience operating within a matrixed or global organization is an asset
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field
