We also help you save for your future by offering pension programs, and savings plans with company matchingBenefits: utilize an employee assistance program and comprehensive company-paid health, dental, and vision benefits for you and your family to support your mental, physical, and financial well-beingGenerous time-off: enjoy generous paid vacation time and personal time-off to recharge and maintain a healthy work-life balanceTalent development programs: Internal mobility, succession planning, and employee training and development programs are just a few ways we’re dedicated to your developmentMinimum Requirements:3 years' heavy equipment operating experience (loader, grader, zoom boom, skid steer etc.) in a heavy industrial, mining, oil sands, or similar environmentA valid driver's license and a clean driving recordStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsPower Engineering certification (any level), Water/Wastewater Treatment certification (any level), Journeyman certification, or relevant technical diplomaResponsibilities:Monitor and operate centrifugal and vertical turbine pumps within the fine tailings system to maintain optimal performanceSupport Accelerated Dewatering (ADW) operations and associated infrastructureOperate and monitor barges, floating pump systems, and pipeline networksPerform equipment inspections and complete pre-operational checksTroubleshoot operational issues to minimize downtime and maintain production targetsIdentify and report potential safety or environmental hazards.Actively participate in safety meetings, hazard assessments, and job safety analysesCommunicate effectively with incoming shifts and supervisors to ensure operational continuityLocation and other Key Details:You will work out of our Fort Hills Plant in Fort McMurray, AlbertaThe shift schedule is a 7 days on / 7 days off rotation (12-hour shifts including night/day rotating shift work)You will be on a Fly-In-Fly-Out Rotation from one of the approved hubs of Edmonton or Calgary or a Bus-In-Bus-Out of Fort McMurrayThink we are a fit?
